hmm...how old am i today??
"max"imum is six months old today! snapped this shot of him in his Bumbo seat (taking a pic of him in it each month) and it looks like he's really thinking about something. max now weighs in at 22.5 lbs., is 29 in. long and has a 47 cm. head! that puts him off the charts in all categories...he is indeed appropriately named! happy 1/2 birthday to max!

i can sit!
look what i can do! it's been a big week of milestones for me...first tooth and sitting up. mama doesn't like how quickly i'm becoming such a big boy. we'll see exactly how big i am in a few days when i have my 6 month check-up.

my lil'y friend
i had a friend come over to "play" today. you've seen her before on my blog, her name is lily. she's an older girl...by 4 months. i enjoyed watching her stand and crawl around. i sure hope i can do that some day! i'm kind of jealous that lily has red hair and i do not...mama tells me it's a really odd gene. she should know!

the three amigos
the girls wanted to hold max the other day before school and asked me to take a picture of them together. so...here it is! pretty cute, huh?

first tooth!
Max has his first tooth! It just broke the skin today on the bottom gums. We're sure he'll be happy about it later but he's not joyful now.
